Looks great in BW!

Ashish Sidapara

B&W seems the best choice to go with such shots, superb!

carla

the place looks as aged as its inhabitants.

=)

I love when a simple photo tells an interesting story. This works so well in b&w . . . awesome work, Sidney.

bw

Very nice and artistic B&W picture Sidney :)

AC

It seems like such a sad place to spend the last years of a life.

Ricardo

A stunning making socially. Well done.
Greetings.

Very sad feel to this, I'm assuming the lady who used to live here has passed away.

angie

this is lovely, sidney.

nice to see a few b+w's from you :-)

i am looking at the photo. no human subject. just the bed and the wall and 'those' things. but i kinda seem to think that you are telling us something with this image.

that amidst the hopelessness and the feeling of being 'alone' in this world, they still believe in the 'powerful' being. Filipinos are true believers of the unknown. we choose to believe than to be left in the oblivion altogether.

Hey there! Dramatic shots on this series, awesome!

I'll be in the phils soon!!! Where are you based?

Otto K.

Love this, Sidney. It brings many things to mind given the other photos. Like why is it empty?

vera

so sad..to think it is our own way...but better than in the streets...

johnz

so austere, but having a bed to sleep in is something we should all be grateful for

pieterbie

One is indeed drawn to the stuff hanging on the wall in these barren dwellings.
Super photo!

Shazeen Samad

wonderful as always

Still

Your series is really great and beautiful and in a same time, it makes me feel sad...

Gérard

Un lit vide c'est mauvais signe !

don

A stark setting for this person's dwelling. Even then, the beauty of art work adorns the walls. Impressive image.
